Milk is a very important food. It's importance cannot be overlooked because of its high nutritional contents and value. These nutrients are crucial in the optimal growth and development of children,  thus should be included in their meals and diets, especially in their formative years.

Milk can be taken by children as beverage, it can also be added in foods (solid or liquud). Some of the nutrients that milk is embellished with, includes:

It has been observed in children that majority detest the eating of vegetables, either as soup or spices.  Then how do you get that child to eat ugwu leaves so that he/she does not miss out on the wide range of nutrients the vegetable contains?

Very simple. Bring your creativity to fore. Get your ugwu leaves, wash throughly,  squeeze out the juice, sieve out the juice in order to avoid leafy particles in it. Add some milk to the ugwu juice.

The beauty of this combination is that all the nutrients in the ugwu leaves are still intact because it has not gone through the process of cooking. This is a natural way of supplying your children with essential  nutrients which are very important for their optimal growth and development.
